Most of my scrapbook albums are from
Creative Memories. They all look the same, however I have color coded them by where we live. For example, our Great Lake years are in green albums, our Hawaii years are in the plum colored albums and so on. The only thing is I've gotten so many - particularly the years we spent in Hawaii - that I don't always know which years are in which albums because they are all in the same color. Yes, I can keep them in order but sometimes they don't always get back onto the shelves in order. Well I came up with this idea of making a kind of album marker (kinda like a bookmark) so I could label my albums by place and year.
Using a metal shepherd's hook bookmark, a small frame charm and a few beads I came up with this......
I found the metal bookmarks and little small frame charms on
ETSY.COMI had the beads already :)

Love that idea!! You should make them and sell them (to me!) lol
That's a really great idea. CM Used to sell them, but they stopped. They promoted them for the milestones albums that couldn't be imprinted, but I wanted them for my tapestry albums. Never got them though since they discontinued them. I never thought of making them like that though. I might have to give it a try.
